About Lawrence

Larry McDermott is a director in the Firm’s Greenwich, Connecticut office and a member of its Tax & Business Services division. Larry is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in tax consulting and compliance. His clients have included art dealers and galleries, television and radio personalities, authors, financial services entities and professionals, high net worth individuals, and family offices.

Prior to joining Marcum, he was the chief accounting and tax officer for a large family office with assets in excess of $1 billion, where he oversaw tax compliance and accounting. Earlier on in his career he managed the federal and state tax filings for Great Waters of France, which included Perrier, Poland Spring, Great Bear, and other major bottled water companies throughout the United States.

Larry began his career at the Big Four in 1986.
