Melissa L. Charnota is a director in the firm’s Advisory Group. She has more than 20 years of professional experience, including business valuation, trial support, matrimonial dissolution, fraud analysis, due diligence reviews, mergers and acquisitions, and forensic accounting.

As a director in the Business Valuation and Matrimonial service areas, her responsibilities include business valuations for fair value reporting, transactions, estate/gift tax, equitable distribution in matrimonial cases, shareholder disputes, and a variety of other purposes, reviews of fair valuations for the Firm’s public and private clients for audits and SEC filings purposes, tracing of assets, determining the net worth for matrimonial clients, trial support, income determination, analyzing documentation, and interviewing clients. In addition, she also deals with lost profit calculations, damage calculations and performing investigative analysis in connection with various forensic accounting matters.
