About Patrick

Patrick Walsh is a director in the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) division of the Firm’s Mayfield Village office. He is also a regional leader of the Firm’s TAS & Private Equity Practices for the Mid-West region. Patrick provides his clients with fully integrated and comprehensive due diligence that helps identify deal breakers, risks, opportunities for improvement and other key factors. He maintains flexibility in timing, scope, and deliverables for each unique transaction.

Patrick has over twelve years of accounting experience, with the last nine years of experience dedicated to TAS. He specializes in the identification and screening of acquisition targets, deal negotiation support; sell-side consulting and transaction execution, buy and sell-side due diligence, quality of earnings and working capital analysis, financial reporting matters, deal structuring, succession planning, and strategic planning. He assists clients with their needs related to planning, performing and managing buy and sell-side financial due diligence services for global companies and private equity firms, and lenders considering to acquire, sell, recapitalize, or restructure middle market private companies.

Patrick began his accounting career at Skoda Minotti in 2008, which merged into Marcum in 2020. He also spent five years as a Senior Manager in the Transaction Services Group of a Top 10 accounting firm.
