Steve Feldman is a partner in the Firm’s New York City office and member of its Capital Markets group. He has more than 35 years of professional experience working with businesses that span a variety of industries including healthcare, financial services, apparel/textile, technology, professional services, construction, and real estate. Stephen has an extensive auditing and accounting background with specializations in the areas of SEC reporting, mergers & acquisitions, public offerings, equity and debt refinancing and new capital formation.

Stephen serves as President of Marcum Special Services, LLC, an entity dedicated to the needs of under-served private and public companies. He works closely with clients to gain an understanding of their unique financing situations, advise them on making sound fiscal decisions, and provide customized investment solutions. Douglas successfully links clients with access to capital by tapping his network of underwriters, traditional bankers, lenders, hedge funds, private equity buyers, venture capitalists, lending institutions, and others.

He has presented numerous seminars to industry and professional organizations on topics related to mergers and acquisitions, attaining profitability levels and transitioning private businesses to publicly-held companies.

Douglas joined the Firm in 2003 when he merged his practice with Marcum. He serves as a member of Marcum’s Executive Committee and on the board of advisors of Marcum Cronus Partners. He was a founding member and President of an international affiliation of accounting firms where he oversaw the activities of accounting practices in more than 70 counties.
