About Michael

Michael Brooder is the Firm’s office managing partner in Hartford, Connecticut. Michael serves as the national Technology & Life Sciences Industry group leader as well as the New England Capital Markets leader. In addition, he is the Marcum Foundation Regional Board Leader in New England.

Michael has more than 25 years of experience conducting, reviewing, and analyzing financial data for publicly traded and privately held companies in the technology and life sciences industry. Michael works with large public companies and innovative emerging growth companies looking for the next disruptive technology or medical advancement. He has extensive experience with reporting requirements for publicly traded companies, including comfort letters, registration statements, and 10-Q and 10-K forms. He offers a practical service-oriented approach to both public and non-public organizations, small and large, that fits each company’s progress in its lifecycle.

Michael extends his knowledge internally and externally as an advisor to professional staff, clients, and industry professionals on accounting and auditing matters.
